Ever wondered what it feels like to breathe underwater? Discover Scuba Diving is the perfect way to experience the magic of the ocean—no certification needed! Taganga is one of the best places to take your first dive and explore the breathtaking marine life of Tayrona National Park. 

What does your PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience look like?

• Before you arrive: You’ll receive a short e-learning module to complete so you’re ready for the adventure!
• 7:30 AM – Meet at our dive center. We’ll start with a full briefing: how the equipment works, basic hand signals, and key safety tips.
• Around 8:30 AM – We head out by boat to Tayrona National Park. First, you’ll do a shallow water session to practice with the gear and get comfortable. Then it’s time for the real fun! You’ll enjoy 2 dives up to 12 meters/40 ft, each about 45 minutes, at two different dive sites. There’s a surface break on the boat between dives (about 60 minutes).
• Return to the dive center around 12:30 PM.

Afternoon Trip available on request!
Meet at 1:00 PM – Boat departs at 2:00 PM – Back by 5:30 PM

After completing the Discover Scuba Diving experience, you have the option to continue directly with the PADI Open Water Diver course and obtain your international certification.

By adding only two additional days of training, you can complete the full course and pay solely the difference between the Discover Scuba Diving experience and the total Open Water course price.

This is an excellent opportunity to continue your training seamlessly and become a certified diver.

Who Can Join?

✓ No prior diving experience is required, but you must be in reasonably good physical health.

Scuba Diving & Flying 

For your safety, you’ll need to wait at least 18 hours after your last dive before flying. This gives your body time to release excess nitrogen from diving safely. Plan your travel so you can enjoy both the ocean and the skies without worry!
